Don't Pass-Me-By Grab Bags

Don't-Pass-Me-By Grab Bags

As my Mom and I sat at the kitchen table over coffee discussing how we should begin to plan to make a difference in our own neighborhood, the first image that came to our minds was the many people we pass by whom are asking for donations due to hunger, homelessness, or misfortune.

I have always hear that many of these people are fraudulent impostors or drug "junkies" and that you should never give them cash.  I am not here to post my opinions on the intentions of their hearts or motives; I am only interested in my own intentions as a Christian towards those I met. If I want to extent a neighborly hand to those around me; I think I will start here. Right or Wrong.

Our plan is to fill small "grab bags" with food and misc. items and have the bags available for any need we feel lead to assist. As we prepare and begin to hand out our "Grab Bags" we will post more details, pictures, and comment on their contents and usefulness.
